Thanks to Momo for the information and write-up! I will get better pictures tomorrow day time.. Anything look wrong/out of place? -Tomorrow pictures wont be giant..and side-ways! Im happy with how it turned out though:bravo:
Thank you again for the help info you provided! yes/no for 2 more lights on licence plate fram holes ? they will be higher up than the other two and closer together. (if holes aernt visible in picture)
I wouldn't mount them to the license plate holes, as it wouldn't be very stable at all. When i had the four across on mine, it was more for the looks. I had just taken a piece of the same material used to make the brackets and cut it to length to bridge the two brackets. Drill holes on both ends and use the light bolts to hold the new piece to the existing brackets. Then i drilled two holes equally spaced out between those two original lights to mount the two new lights. The problem i had was that with the extra weight of the two new lights, it made it vibrate over bumps. I just kept it on for a long time just for the looks. I was planning on working on a more substantial design, but just haven't had the time. Not sure if you can see it very well from this pic
Here is what i was talking about. The red blocks represent the ends of the existing brackets. The yellow bar would be the new piece bridging the two brackets, then you can see how your bolts (silver) would go through both pieces on the ends. Light blue is the nuts. Let me know if this helps.
