Did the same to mine months back. I got the idea from another member on here. I like the look a lot.

I just used a rattle can of semi gloss black when I did mine. Has been almost a year and they still look fine.

Figure I can always shoot them again if it scratches up.

Nice! Ras do you have the old school 4WD on the rear mud flaps?

I do. Always loved that on the older Toyota pickups. I work for a trade show company that designs and builds exhibits. We have a massive graphics department. I had one of the designers here match the font and cut the vinyl for me.....for a 6-pack.

It looks fine. Is your 285/70/17 inside? My 285 fits in stock spare location.

That photo is the day I got the 285s mounted. Hence being all nice and shiny. The stock tires are in the photo in the rear. I still have a stock tire as the space. I plan on removing it and adding another 285 under there.

These look great. I had already considered doing the whole wheels, but this is a great easy way to start. Thanks for the pictures!

Here are a few photos before and during the process so you can see with the logos off.

What is the best way to take the center caps off without damaging caps or wheels?

I wrapped the head of a phillips screwdriver with duct tape and pried it between the cap and rest of wheel and pushed towards the wheel and it pops right off. Some needed to do this a few times around the cap. Best of luck.

So they come off from the front? I was figuring on having to remove the wheel to get them off.
