Plastic Cladding Faded

Hey everyone I have an 03 sport with that gray plastic cladding all around the outside. Mine is fading a bit, any ideas on making it look better?

Id get it painted to match the color of your truck, personally, I never liked the 2tone on the 4th gen

There's a few products out there to restore the exterior plastic. I used Forever Black on my Volvo, worked great.

I 2nd on that Forever Black stuff...but it wears off quickly.

I have an 03 Sport as well, and the waxing (with TW Ice) and the Forever Black have really kept mine looking good.

Replacing all of the panels and bumpers is REALLY expensive, so i wouldnt go that route! Just one of the lower rocker panel protectors on the front doors is over $200! GEEEEEZ!

I think its the wax residue...

Schedule a day of the "peanut butter trick" (do a research) before applying those blackblack thing. Mothers Back to Black is also a good product.

Back to black or fade to black are both good products

I use Long Lasting Wet Tire look gel stuff and it works out great.

I used the charcoal duplicolor bumper coating on the tailgate step which had faded over the years and it looks awesome! Basically brand new. If you did your gray panels, I bet it will look stock, and brand new.

Any idea how much it would cost to color match the cladding to the color of the body?
