I just installed Savage full skids and while removing the plastic "skid" that protects the fuel line against the frame rail on the drivers side the bolts snapped. Do you guys run with this installed? It does provide a bit of protection however its going to be a pain to get it installed properly. Right not I just have it zip tied up.

i have the savage skids and i left that plastic one off. but with that said i hate mud and rarely go in sand. thats about the only thing the plastic would really stop.
i already dented the shit out of my savage skids and had to beat them back into place, but they are nice to have.
