PlastiDip License plate surround White

Hello guys. I recently picked up my '01 4Runner Limited, and have began working with it. I will be creating a build thread in the future, but I didn't see anyone that has painted their license plate garnish white, so I figured I would try at least.

What I used was a couple cans of white plastidip (just in case I hated the color, I could peel it off) and here is the end result. I think the color is very close, although it's flat instead of gloss. I also painted my gold emblems black. Let me know what you think!

Looks great! Plastidip also has a glossy clear coat spray as well if you don't like the flat look.

I did mine black on my green runner. I love it so much I'll be painting it black with a bumper/trim paint soon.

We need to start a plastidip only thread to compile all the ideas people come up with with this stuff.

That's a great idea. The previous owner of mine did the tint strip on the windshield. Works way better than tint cause it blocks out the sun. I've seen some awesome stuff dome
