PlastiDip questions

I have read the wonders of PlastiDip for various mods and am considering giving a few of my parts a coat or two of it. I have not found much information on how easy it is to actually remove. Anyone out there have experience with the ease/trouble of removing PlastiDip from emblems, roof rack, etc?
Thanks for the help.

i plastidip my wheels, but have yet to remove it. if you put a thick coat on it should be relatively easy to peel off. if there are parts that dont peel off, goo gone i hear works wonders as well.

The biggest thing is to make sure it's on thick - it sounds counterintuitive, but it's actually easier to pull off if there's more of it. When there isn't enough applied, it keeps breaking as you pull it off.

The stuff is magical. I had dipped the chrome SR5 Rocker panel strips on mine about 6 months back and decided to paint them instead so I needed to peel off the dip, literally need to get your peeling started in one corner, and it came completely off in one pull/swipe.

That said if you have some spots that it is lightly on or even over sprayed I was always able to just rub the palm of my hand on the surface and it came right up.

Can't go wrong with the stuff!

Antman i believe recently removed plastidip off his wheels and from what I recall it was a big pain in the rear for him, for that wheels that is.

When I was spraying my fog light inserts, it had to do it three times just because i was learning, and every time i took off the spray it just peeled right off. So I think it just depends on what you are applying it to and how long its on there for.

Remember when you were a kid and put white glue or rubber cement on your hands? It peels off like that.
