Hey guys- going to be replacing my front rotors on my 2004 sport edition soon, and wanted to know which rotors/pads you recommend? Trying to save some money by purchasing them online, and I heard the Sport has different dimensions than the SR5, so I was hoping someone could direct me to a link to buy them. Thanks for your help!!

if you are on the cheap, brake motive on ebay have some decent rotor sets with pads, I tried there rotors, its ok, made in china so its alright, I think they are the same as powerstop. r1conceptz have the same thing too. I wouldn't cheap on brakes since its a safety item, I spend some decent money on my stoptech rotors and hawk lts pads.

are these rotors and pads pretty good quality? Has anyone else had experience with them for the Sport V8? Are the drilled/slotted rotors really necessary over the Daily Driver rotors?
I have an '05 and need to have mine replaced. My vehicle is my daily driver but the Z23 says they are OE quality.

Centric E-Coat premium rotors or Raybestos Advanced Technology RPT coated rotors. No rust, even up here in the great white north with the Centrics. Leave the drilled / slotted rotors to the fast and furious crowd.
For pads, I have Akebono ceramics. No dust or noise, but not much initial bite either. I think a good semi-metallic pad is probably quite a bit better for brake feel. I'm going to try Hawk HPS street pads if the Akebono's ever wear out.
I get most of my stuff from Amazon, free shipping with a Prime membership. Just stick the info about your truck into the site and they'll show you the parts that fit.

Same here with Akebono ceramic pads on my wife's SUV...no initial bite, but very low dust, no noise, and very long wear life.
I swapped them for NAPA "Adaptive One" hybrid ceramic pads along with new rotors. These pads have worked very well on my Subaru and same with her vehicle. Not as much pedal pressure needed to slow/stop, little more dust than the Akebonos and no noise.
