plugs and wires for 1st gen

Getting ready to change plugs and wires in my 88 3.0. What brand are you guys using? Anything else I need to change while I am on there?

I just replaced my plugs with the NGK's that the parts store showed as OEM and they did make a difference in it running smoother.

You probably got the NGK V-powers. Very cost effective and work great, what I use. I've heard the NGK Iridiums are great too, but I've never been able to justify buying a 10+ dollar spark plug.

NGKs and wires from the dealer. Anything else makes my 22re run crappy.

I'm running NGK coppers and some part store wires (couldn't wait for nice ones to come in). I've had zero problems from them. Worth noting that I switched to a msd or accel (i forget which) coil and it made a noticeable difference, especially starting up from cold iron.
