Plugs in glovebox

Noticed a couple plugged openings in upper left of glovebox. One is rectangular, as if for a switch. The other one is round, as if for 12 volt outlet. :canada:

Must be one of the option packages they offered. My '10 has the premium and convenience packages and it has both the USB and the 12V in the glovebox. Very convenient.

I believe they moved them from the glove box to the center console in the newer models but left the blanks there. Others have moved them back to the glove box if that is their preference.

I believe that is the only USB port in the 2012 T4R. Did that get moved to the console as well?

Mine is the same, 2014 Trail Premium. I moved my USB in the centre stack to the glovebox so i can keep my iPod in there and just leave it.

Mines a '10 Limited . USB & 12v in glove box , AUX & 12v in lower center stack (under lid) , 110v in center console , 110v & 12v at rear compartment . Can't remember , don't think there's anything at 2nd row seating .

I have a '16 TEP and I have the blanks, just noticed today putting items from my wife's car in to her runner.
My aux and USB are in the center console.

i just picked up a 2010 limited and in the glove box it looks like the removed the USB port and put in a factory ipod cable. do you know if it's possible to change it back to a USB?

My 2013 TE only has USB in the glove box.

My center console has the 12V, and I have a second USB right next to my cigarette lighter plug.

Also have another 12V in the back on the backside of the rear passenger wheelwell.
