PO302, which cylinder?

People on here have said it's cylinder two but in my Chilton repair book it says code PO302 is cylinder ONE.


PO301...misfire detected
po302.....misfire cylinder one
etc.
po307....misfire cylinder 6

Anyone know which info is true? I am about to put in a new coil pack and want to make sure it goes on the right spark plug.

p0302 is cyl number 2. the number at the end of the code is related to the corresponding cylinder.

p0300 is random multiple misfire.

Ok so to verify cylinder two is the first one on the right from the bottom?

I just got the P0300 code, Do you happen to know where I should start to figure out why im getting it and how I can fix it?

Standing in front of the vehicle and facing the rear, yes it's the first on your right.

Check the plugs for spark first and then you can check the wires. It's usually an ignition issue before a fuel issue.
