Popping sound help.

So I am trying to figure out where all of these new sounds are coming from.

One i believe to be my UCA bushings going bad. And since have ordered some replacements and will probably trying to get them in next weekend.

But when I was under my truck today I grabbed the CV axle and notice there was some play in it. Is this normal or should it be pretty solid? My boots and clamps are all in good order and nothing looks out of the ordinary.

The sound comes after a stop and is usually under normal acceleration. It is a pop sound and is definitely coming from the front. It also sometimes happens during a turn. If I accelerate slow it might not pop.

Any thoughts would be help full.

I also have a grind under slow speeds coming from the front passenger. Just replace my brake pads so that was not the issue. So I am thinking it is time to get a new hub.

I just heard my truck doing this tonight. Was driving without any music because the wife and baby were sleeping. Should I go to my dealer and hope that it is under warranty or take to my trust worthy shop?

CV should be pretty solid, but can still have movement. What your describing sounds like a CV or even a front drive shaft.

I don't know your mileage or if you saw my thread but I had the exact same noise and it was the LCA bushings.
