Porsche or Tundra CV Boot Part #s

I currently go through Vatozone CV axles every 6-12 months or so. All because that lower/outer boot explodes on me. Thinking of finding stock Toyota CV axles and doing this Porsche boot mod, if I read more about it and see how they hold up, then just keep the Vatozone ones as spares.

Edit, so I 2nd that question, how do these Porsche ones hold up?

The porsche boots from Rock auto would have to ship from Great Britian.

Shipping alone would be $32

So while the product cost would be $21 for a pair of boots, your total cost would bring them to $26.50 a piece.

Toward bottom there are some high angle inner boots (orange) and aftermarket replacement inner and outer.

I can't BELIEVE no one's cracked any jokes about how these Porsche CV boots add a few horsepower.

Seriously though - is there a need for people to (want to) replace these as a 'preventive' thing? Or only when/if the CV boots need replacing?

It may add horsepower, but it also wouldn't work 10 months out of the year! Haha

CV needs to come out of diff and/or hub for install of the one's I listed. They are not the "quick boot" with a slit.

Sounds like something I'll be taking note of for when I need to reboot my CV's. Does anyone have or know of a decent write up on removing/replacing CV axles and boots? I've never done it nor seen it done so I could use a little help.
