"Portable" DVD Player

I am in the market for a good, reliable, DOES NOT SKIP, portable DVD player to place in some type of holder for my kid to watch in the car. I do not want a fixed DVD player for many reasons.

What I want to know if anyone does this setup, and has or knows of any problems with skipping?

I was given a 6" screen portable when I bought all my home theater stuff @ Best Buy berfore Christmas. I think the brand is Minitech. I threw in the car for grins when we were taking a trip & it was really neat. Never skipped once. For good performance, I rewarded it with a Pep Boys $25 case, that doubles as an over the seat deal for rear seat viewing. Nice & cheap; just don't ask what I spent to get the freebie!

Check out the Panasonic LA-95... (kinda pricey tho) Mito corp is coming out with a "kwik klip" bracket that allows you mount this player between the seats at the rear of the center console. Not sure if the bracket will fit other models of portables or not:
