POS TRD Centercaps

That's right; Forged beadlock TRD wheel's centercaps are just crap. Even though made well these have terrible finish that peels off. I'm on my third set of 4 since 2013.I stopped using wheel cleaner products and just using car soap but have a feeling this will not help. These caps made in China and it shows. Does anyone else have same issue with them? Any suggestions?

If it makes you feel better I've broken 2 out of my 4 original Trail center caps. They're brushed aluminum outer surface so they won't flake, but they don't hold up very well to rocks. Cheep Chinese junk!

Hate to break it to you but they're neither forged or beadlock. They're low pressure cast with a beadlock style lip. So shouldn't surprise you that the center caps are really just plastic dress up items.

These newer center caps have all been poor as hell in terms of quality. Nothing you can do.

I stand corrected, looks like you do indeed have forged TRD wheels instead of the cast alloys.

One of my TRD Pro center cap's red paint is peeling off.. very disappointed
