Post 60 seconds auto car arming

What model? Just been discussed as SR5's apparently do not have alarms . Limiteds do as I just tested mine over the weekend........lock and 30 seconds arms it and any door or the hood opening sets it off .
Somebody out there needs to test a TE .
Wind down window,lock door and after 30 seconds reach in and open the door to see if it has the factory equipped alarm.

2012 TE has a factory alarm for sure, my ears can attest to this 
It seems like I actually don't even need to physically open the door to set it off--I was able to set the factory alarm off just by reaching in through the open window and flipping the door lock switch from locked to unlocked.
Edit: As far as OP's question, I don't think the factory alarm comes default with passive arming, you need to manually arm it every time, if that's what you are asking? It might be a dealer programmable option though, not really sure.
The only passive arming the factory alarm does (that I have noticed) is after the alarm is armed manually, and you press the disarm button on the remote, it will automatically rearm after a minute or so, pending that you have not opened any doors in this time. Safety feature for accidentally pressing the button with your butt I guess.

No auto lock, the alarm is armed as soon as I press the lock button on the key fob

I'm pretty sure they passive lock/ arm if you press unlock and no doors are opened. That's what happens on my 10 SR5 and my old 3rd gen.
I tested to make sure the alarm works like it should, and after locking and opening the door, nothing happened. That's when I realized that you have to wait until the truck arms which happens a little while after the lock command.

I rememebr than in the first days I bought the truck I was sitting inside reading manual to figure how to operate controls, seats etc. Then I think I locked the doors from the fob being inside. After awhile I hit unlock button on keyfob. It unlocked doors but then after a minute or so doors was automatically locked back becuase they had not been opened. The alarm really took me by surprise. It came off when I open driver door from inside (without unlocking doors with key fob).
