Figured I'd post pics up..
First Vehicle: 1985 S10 Blazer- Was stock until I got it. Then came an AAL (Add-A-Leaf), 3" BL (Body Lift), Tweaked Torsion Bars for 1.5" and of course 31" BFG A/Ts.. Piece in the steering column broke in 02. My dad couldn't figure it out. I started messing with it when I was 15. He handed me the keys to it when I was working on it right before I turned 16. Fixed the steering column and most everything else when I was 18. Guess you could say that this is my hunting vehicle and project/toy. SAS coming soon!
Currently driving a 98 T4R Limited with nearly 275,000 on the odometer.

wow im getting old haha. I only have physical pictures of my 1st car (from a film camera) and im too lazy to dig them up and scan them so here is a replica of what mine looked like. I just had the audi rings in red on the side and big sticker on the front lip that said "Kraut Burner" 
it was a 1986 Audi 5000
and then when i finaly got a stable job and wanted to lock myself into some car payments i bought this, did a bunch of stuff to it,

Looks like the only cool cars you guys had were muscle cars, i wish i grew up in that era But heres what i had for a few months, This was my first car, but it was my dad's weekend type car:
1995 Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon 192 of 500
3.9l V8 (wish it was a 300tdi), 5 Speed Manual (only way to go), Topped out a 99mph downhill. It was coolest vehicle at school, got lots of compliments even the school cop liked it. The kid who had an 09 Challenger Hemi was a prick and someone sh*t on his hood, i lol'd.
In retrospect i should have kept the PIAA lights and not included them in the sale, considering they were uninstalled at the time of the sale. :/
I will own another one day whether it be a Defender or a Series, there is something special about those trucks.

Why did you sell the D90? I know the 4runner is good, but that thing is a beast, plus has appreciated in value over the years. If you had it to sell today, you could easily get three 3rd gen 4runner for what you could have sold it for.
One sold in VA not too long ago with over 95,000 miles for $21,000.

It was the fathers, He sold it for what he paid for it, i would much prefer the defender but, almost $20k for a 16 year old truck is a bit much, especially when i can legally import one in comperable condition with a diesel for half the price
With that being said i am trying to buy a Series 3, and put a 2.4l izuzu TD in it, as i can afford one of those...

My very first car was a 92 Nissan Sentra that I bought from my bro for 500 bucks. It was a great car and never gave me any problems. I worked for Discount tires through high school and always got "take offs" for free. The poor girl never had matching tires.
After I graduated I left home for two years and when I came back home my sisters had taken over the Sentra. So I drove my dad's "work" truck, an Isuzu P'up. I was coming home one day and it literally died pulling into the drive way, it never started again.
I moved out to Utah to go to school and I bought a Subaru Legacy from my friend's sister. The transmission went out on it a couple months later, which was fine cause it lead me to an old Subaru GL. Actual photo, so many good memories in that vehicle. That's my girlfriend, wife now, with our first Christmas tree together. The GL had lowrange and would go anywhere, I still miss it.
After I got married we needed a second vehicle so we bought an 82 dodge colt. Amazing roadtripping car. Never let us down and 40+ MPGs. We took it to WA, OR, and Cali multiple times. I never got tired of people looking at us like we were crazy for driving such an old car, miss that car too.
Then I got a Toyota PU loved being able to throw my bikes in the back. It was a fun truck until I went uphill, the 22R was bullet proof, but really lacked in power. What engine wouldn't struggle going up to 10,000 ft?
Once our first kid came so I got my wife a 2008 Honda Fit, bought brand new. Sold that just a couple months ago beacause she wanted something with more clearance and AWD. Ended up with a 2002 Honda CR-V, we liked the boxier styling the newer ones are just to round. I drove a Toyota corolla All-Trac until I bought myself my runner.
None of our vehicles have been show stoppers but I have been on some pretty amazing adventures with each of them. From my Sentra carrying 4 mt bikes on a trunk mt carrier going up to Whistler to my Runner in Moab.

I actually sold it back to the guy who I bought it off originally, and he is a good friend, so no, I don't have it but I do have 'access' to it
. It's in Australia and I sold it because I moved to the States. The 60 series Patrols were only available in the US from 66-69 and only about 2000 were sold, so they can fetch good money over here.

i always wanted one of those, good old trucks, shows that Nissan actually has some pedigree in the 4x4 world, wish they would have kept this line going and marketed it here instead of the pathfinder.....

Saw this and thought I'd share too..
First car I bought in 1998 when I was 16:
1990 Mazda Protege 4WD with a 5-SPD, grey (stock image I found)
Amazing, AMAZING car! Mazda only produced this car for a couple years with the 4WD option, but it was an awesome option! This car had THREE locking differentials underneath: one in the front, rear and center.
At all times the car would be using either the front two wheels or rear two wheels depending on which weren't slipping (basically transferring power to either the front or rear differentials). Then in rougher times you could lock the center differential giving you TRUE 4x4 power to all wheels.
This car would take me anywhere I went when I lived up in Alaska at the time, including places some trucks dared not. I remember driving in very bad road conditions (ice, snow, mud, etc) and passing trucks and other vehicles that had gotten stuck or slid off the road. I had no issues at all on the same roads.
That Protege traveled with me from Alaska here to Colorado and I bought a second vehicle:
1988 Chevrolet K1500 Scottsdale pickup
Blue Regular Cab, Short, side-flared bed, 4WD, 5-SPD, and matching topper
(unfortunately, no picture either)
I loved this truck even at stock. The 350 V8 was powerful for such a small truck. I wanted to keep this truck for a long time, but alas when gas prices started to hike I decided to sell. Someday I may buy one again and mod it like I always wanted to
After selling the truck and then deciding to sell the Protege due to 4WD parts being rare and expensive to replace or rebuild I bought my next vehicle:
1996 Mazda 626 ES
All the options Mazda put in these things, including a 5-SPD
Great car with a powerful V6 to get me up into the mountains here in Colorado. It held up very well and took me and the wife on several adventures and long road trips. It also got great gas mileage (at least compared to our 4Runner's V6 engines).
But I decided that the 626 was just not enough vehicle and I needed more room and power. So next I bought my next vehicle in November of 2009:

Stock with V6, 4WD, 5-SPD and eLocker
(picture of it when I bought it stock! Of course, doesn't look quite like that today)
I've also owned a few motorcycles:
- Rebuilt 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 with custom fairing/paint

As promised... the ladies loved TYCO.
After I wrecked it a few times it got a coat of good old primer gray.. and a new bed, and fenders, and tailgate, and hood, and grille, and bumper...so on and so on. I rebuilt that little truck... ALOT.

My first was a 89 isuzu pickup. 5 speed manual with some holes in the front fenders from a dent puller and some primer patches. Wasnt the nicest looking ride but at the time i was 15 and thought it was badass. Unfortunately no pics of it.
My second car was a 88 prelude si i got my senior year of high school. Had it shipped from Hawaii to Arizona where i went to tech school, Absolutely loved it. Sold it and bought my 96 4runner about 8 years ago. Ended up buying another 89 prelude si about 1.5 years ago for $400 and its running like a champ but the body is still under construction.
