Thanks, I appreciate it. It's the Old Man Emu suspension lift, not spacers, which gives you ~3" lift. You would have to dump the xreas with OME, but most have said it was certainly worth it for the increased suspension performance. Personally, I liked getting rid of the softer stock suspension.

Damn some sick runners in here. Can't wait to lift mine. Don't want a spacer lift, might as well replace everything in there. Its getting old w/ about 120k. Old man emu is looking interesting.

Aint there someone out there with some 35" tires with a 5-6" lift.

I should have done more research into lifting 4th gens before I purchased one. I was sick to my stomach when I found out that they only offer a measly 2/3 lift (if you want to keep XREAS).

I thought it would be easy to lift it up high. The FJ's come with a 5-6" lift...those are friggin insane looking...I love that look. I will probably have to wait until my XREAS system needs to be overhauled before I can lift it so I dont waste money.

Honestly thinking about trading my 4R in for a tacoma or tundra just so I can lift it with ease. We have many tacomas lifted high where I live and they look nice.

Other than this, I love my 4R. I just wish they added ground clearance instead of taking it away in the 4th gen.

All of these runners are sick, I will be doing mine this summer and after seeing all these pics I cant wait. Will you guys post what lift you have, estimated cost, tire size, and gas milage. This would be a huge help and a great guide for anyone looking into getting a lift. Thanks.

You can use the FJ cruiser 5 in lift from procomp or rough country if you want that much lift. The FJ and Taco use the same front cross member as the 4th gen 4r. That is what Alex did but there is no turning back with these mods.
