I did, in the same size but sold them after 12k miles. They were mounted to a 9" wide rim. Tread lightly!

I'm post whoring today. Icon Stage 6. 
Here are some pics from a few months back of my Gobi Rack and 4R fully stacked. I don't think i've seen any rack this full on a 5th gen. This is the gear of 6 adults, 1 dog and enough gear for 5 days of camping. We drove a total of 320 miles with it like this and nothing up there ever moved. The truck and rack handled everything perfectly.

Your Shrockworks bumper looks awesome. I am on the fence about one but the black on black you have looks real good. I like the center tube only approach.

Yeah I sprayed them. I used VHT nightshades. I didn't go with a full blackout because where my college is at, there cops are pretty strict on blacked out tails. I used a few tutorials when do this. The only thing I really can't stress enough would be the clear coat. Make sure you DO NOT use an enamel clear coat. I did the first time I did the lights and they turned out horrible. Second time around, the enamel clear made sanding them down a pain and then I used the Krylon Fusion Clear ( good stuff). Try googling it. I can't seem to find the link to the tutorial used.
Here's a few pics from when I did them and of them. This is all I have on my computer. If you need any more pictures PM me and i'll do my best to help.
Oh and BTW, clear coat when over the entire tail light lenses after I pulled off the newspaper.

I did a quick search but didn't come up with the tut's you mentioned (I'll keep looking), do you still have them linked? Also is there a reason why the clears can't be done in the same manner?

I had maybe 10 links bookmarked before my laptop crashed and had to be replaced. I found one from what I thought was VHTs website, but now I can't find that one. I'll keep looking too. I'm pretty sure that Jesse1983 had linked me to one, but I've since deleted that PM.
And what do you mean by the clears done in the same manner? Are you asking why didn't I do them? Well my reasons behind keeping them clear was because of my tinted windows. It already makes backing up at night terrible. So that's why I taped em off and kept em clear. When I finished up with the black and unmasked the lamps, I then finished up with some clear coat, then a wet sand, and clear again. I repeated that once more. Then after the final wet sand, I had some rubbing compound I used to pull the scratches out, and finished them up with about 3 coats of wax. I'll see if I can get some pictures of the stuff I used tomorrow if I can remember. Let me know if you have any other questions.

On the clear I was thinking of masking off the reverse and directional like you did the brake light and blacking out the rest. For finishing you basically treated them the same as if it was a body panel then?
I'll definitely be doing some more research on this before doing them, don't wanna be buying new tails :nono:

Yeah man no problem.
If I'm understanding what your talking about, your talking about masking off a square or section on the reverse and blinkers too? and then painting around that? The reason why I didn't do this was because I have the TE tails, and they are already tinted on the inside of the lenses. And yes, pretty much like a body panel. And every time I wax the truck, I wax the lights too. Keeps em nice and glossy.
Yeah read up, and make sure you know the step by step process like the back of your hand. TAKE YOUR TIME WITH IT. My buddy did his frontier lights with me. He finished up maybe 6 hours before mine, and his didn't turn out as well.
Rushing i think also lead me to redoing mine. I wasn't happy the first time, and decided to give it another go. Spent close to 10 hours on just sanding that freaking enamel clear off. Word of advice, if you plan to use something like the 3M headlight restore kit that connects to the drill to do your sanding, then be careful. The speed of the drill will heat up the lense and cause it to look kinda melted (found this out the hard way:roadkill
. As far as coats, I believe I did 4 coats if I remember right. I sprayed let dry for an hour, wetsand lightly with a high grit sandpaper and clean up a little bit. Spray again and repeat. After the last coat was finished up. I let it cure over night before I installed the following day. I'm still looking for that link to get to ya.
If you don't want them as dark, then don't spray as much. Spray in light coats, and use the wetsanding to smooth out the runs if you get any. If you want to get real dark, then spray more. Be careful on the edges of the lights as it's easier to rub off the niteshade there.
New Wheels
Posting pic of the new wheels installed, MB 72's in 17 x 8.5, 4.5" BS and -6mm offset. Exactly like the American Racing Mojaves and Black Rock Yuma 908B but an .5 wider and only $110 ea at discount tire.
I left the 1.25" spidertrax on initially which made the stance really wide (maybe too wide) unfortunately it caused major rubbing on the body mount and I am not ready for either the body mount chop or forking out the money for UCA's to get the caster.
