Just Lifted It

Looking to add a different roof rack to mine. I want to remove the stock one, and put on a new one any opinions?

Lots of options for swapping out the factory roof rack; Gobi and Baha racks are two popular options, depending on what you want to do. Some LE and SR5 owners opt to exchange the chrome rack for the factory rack that came on the '10-'13 Trail models. The TE racks pop up in the For sale/WTB thread stickied at the top.

Excellent question...I'm not sure. I haven't check for coil/sway clearance. But this is also only giving me about 2.5in of lift, so I don't think that will be an issue.

I had to relocate my front sways with 2.5" of lift.
You'll hear it if clearance is an issue, but it's also quite easy to check visually if you have a boo in there with the wheels at full lock.

Looks good on both sides. Also checked with slight compression on both sides. Looks like a good 3/4" to 1".

Finally installed my lift over the weekend. It was a blast! Front Bilstein 5100's set to 2.5. Rear Bilstein 5100's with 2" Toytec SuperFlex Coils.

Looks great!!! I was actually very interested in seeing what the Matte Silver Stealth 6 looked like on Blizzard Pearl. Nice indeed.

You should look at the Camel back Metal gear rack by [MENTION=68079]drabbits[/MENTION] Alex does a nice job and it's more affordable then Gobi (across town from me) given where you are you could probably drive down to save on shipping. Just another option, very pleased with mine.
