2014 SR5 premium with supreme suspension lift 2" rear 3" front

My new 2014 T4R SR5 premium. I lifted it with a supreme suspensions 3"front 2" rear lift. I am currently running 8 hole 17" FJ Cruiser wheels with 285 70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I will be switching out to the TRD pro wheels soon.

So after reading every page, it seems that most of the lifted 4runners go with a Duratrac. Mine's getting lifted this Friday and i'm debating about tires and was wondering why everyone seems to go Duratracs versus anything else? Reading a lot more about these as I've ran BFG MT KM and KM2's on my other two rigs and was thinking about a change.. preference or just the looks?

It is a very aggressive all terrain tire that is not that loud on the road. It does very well in various conditions including snow.

I myself will be going with the Nitto trail grapplers next.

I really considered it but was concerned about the sidewall softness that I have read in reviews. Ended up with the Cooper STMaxx. Great looking tire, superb ride and still getting decent mileage even after the lift (17.5 mixed driving mostly city and hills). It's a similar MT/AT hybrid type tire as the Duratrac.

Ditto - E-rated MAXX's have a 3-ply sidewall and with all the roots, rocks and stumps in the mid-atlantic, I wanted the extra insurance of a little more protection. It was a tough decision, but I'm very happy with the Coopers so far.
