Post your LIFTED pix here!

marioandthezoo; looks great any more pics? Are those the maximum settings on the BOSS kit components? Looks much taller than others on here.

2chains, love the name by the way, these are not the max settings but it does sit higher than others I've seen. As it sits now it is still very comfortable and responsive but I'll take setting pics here shortly.

haha thx, I'm a surveyor by trade chains are an old unit of measurement. I'm taking my T4R in monday to get the BOSS kit installed w/285 duratracs. I like your setup height and was wondering what to tell the installer...I assumed in most folks pics they had maxed out the settings but yours appears to be higher.

You should get a ton of lift just with out of the box settings. Everyone that installs the Boss gets what looks to be 4+ inches up front. I think the rule of thumb is to stick to 3" or less, but it does look good...

the name makes lots of sense. All I wanted was to get the vehicle leveled, for such they do have to raise the front a bit more depending on how the back sits. I told my installer to level it, even though here in SoCal people love the Baja look with the front raised a bit more... If you stick to the 3" in the front, you'll end up with the same stock level look (the front a bit dipped). Might help with MPG though. Let me see how it looks after.

Bajarack spy light system

Here are some photos of the Bajarack with the spy light system. The Light bar is a ridged spot/flood combo 40" light bar.

sms138 can we see some more pics of that flat bajarack????

2014 Trail - 5100s / 285s

Here are some more photos I took of my recent lift.
The rear is stock, but I upgraded the rear shocks to 5100s too.
I went with with Toyos 285/ AT/II LT Versions.

Overall, I am happy with everything. It rides a little stiffer and you get dinged about 1-2 MPG. However, it looks a lot better and the upgraded tires make a huge difference in the dirt and overall handling. I went for a quick drive to Ocotillo Wells over the weekend (live in Ramona, CA) and I had no problems in the sand or going up some steep hills. I even was able to try out rock crawl mode for a hill I was having troubles getting up. I have owned 4wd trucks in the past and I am really impressed with the way this vehicle performs. I feel it would take a lot to get this vehicle stuck. Now I wish i would have got some UCAs and a coil-over set up! I will wait a bit

My next upgrade will be Budbuilt sliders. Do you guys recommend the beefy versions? I was debating getting exhaust, but I am not sure if it is really worth $500+

I am getting married, so I need to see how much damage to my bank account occurs first...(Actually, I probably should spend my extra cash now!).

Looks great! So that setup is just 285's and the 5100's?

And yes... Spend that $$$ now! :)

Yes, it is just 285s and 5100s w/ stock springs and rims.

The new Trails look really good already (besides the lame tires they put on them and the 2.75" back to front rack). The front is set on the 3rd ring (~ 2"lift). I tried to keep it simple, but now I just want to keep adding stuff now :-).

dtcarlso: Did you measure before and after? Just asking because I placed my Bilsteins at 1.75" but actually got 2.5" out of them! Still looks great but I am thinking about lifting the rear just little now because of it!

So. Many. Posts.

So I leveled my 4Runner by putting Bilsteins up front and got 2.5" out of it. But I did nothing in the rear because I wanted to get rid of the rake. My new concern is sagging in the rear when I load up my 4Runner. Are there any springs out there that are stiffer but don't give any lift or very little lift in the rear? Or should I go for the 1.5" spacers and call it a day? I would much prefer to have springs vs spacers, FYI.

if you're gonna go with a 1.5" spacer, go with the Sway-A-Way (SAW) 1.5" springs in the back - just put them on my truck and love them

Finally, after sitting in my garage for nearly 4 months, moving, and work, I installed my Toytec BOSS fronts, LR UCAs, and Bilstein 5100s with SAW Springs in the back. Got it aligned today, and there seems to be something rubbing front driver's side (making the waa-waa sound) - still running stock wheels and tires. Ran my hand behind the wheel to see if anything was touching/close, and couldn't find anything - so not quite sure... Any suggestions would be great. Love the ride, handling, drive, and everything else in between!

Can you measure the distance from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender well on the front and back and post the numbers please?

New 14 TEP

I have been waiting for a month to be able to post in here! This is my 2014 TEP, I put the ToyTec spring leveling kit on it due to not having the money ready for the Boss kit(I have no patience) It also added a set of 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's. I'm loving the stance. The only Pics I have at the moment is from me stopping by the dealer. More pics to follow.
