What set up are you running?

Here is my lifted TE on a trail. I have a 2006 Tacoma that I use for more difficult trails. The TE is the family cruiser. The front skidplate has a nice dent in it now because of this last trip.

What lift are you running and also what size MTs are those. Your truck is almost exactly what I am envisioning my 2011 SR5 to look like when I am done with it. Funny we are almost at the same latitude too... I am in Colima. Similar weather, IIRC! Anyhow, I wanted to put either 31.5 x 11.5 or 32.5 x 12.5 MTs on my ride... curious if that's what you are running and what lift you used.

Okay, it's possible that I just haven't paid attention, or maybe I missed somthing...

I have not seen one LEGIT suspension lift here. Where's the camburg? where's the total chaos? They both make bombproof offroad suspension kits for the '10+ 4runners, but all i see if fabtec, toystorytec, and lift spacers. You paid 35k+ for an incredible on and offroad machine, do it justice and give it the suspension job it deserves!

The day I installed my camburg UCAs and king coilovers on my '03 tundra was the day I saw the light. There is no other way. Do not disgrace your toyotas.

That is all.


P.S. I am not a camburg/TC employee, just a toyota owner who knows what's good for his toyota and all toyotas.

Friggin call them and talk about the FJ suspension and the 4runner suspension. WTF do you think the total chaos FJ and 10+ 4runner suspension systems are the same? why are the engine bays the same? why did toyota say they modeled the new 4runner off the new FJ? Treat your truck right, and it will treat you right. Don't skimp.

So all the guys with toytec ultimate, Icon Stage I-VI, Overland Warehouse, King....Is that not good enough? Is it not a "LEGIT" suspension?

Travel Remote Reservoir Front Coil-over Shock Kit - ICON Vehicle Dynamics) and total chaos UCA (found here Total Chaos Upper Control Arm Suspension System for 05+ Toyota Tacoma, 07+ FJ Cruiser & 03+ 4Runner)

Correct on all of this. Icon extended coilovers with the reservoirs. Total chaos UCA. Icon springs with Icon shocks in the rear. BFGoodrich Mud Terrain LM2 in size 285/70-17. This vehicle is an absolute beast offroad with this setup. On road is nice and smooth.

Read my signature if you want some TC love, but frankly everyone has legit suspension mods one way or the other.
