Haha, my heart was going pretty good especially when the truck seesawed. For a second it felt like it was just going to keep going and roll over entirely. If you look closely at the third pic you can see my dog casually resting his chin on the window sill like it's all no big deal.

The OW 2.0 seems to be getting better the harder I use it. We had to drive some heavily rutted gravel roads just to get to the trailhead and the suspension ate them up. Incredibly happy I opted to go that route. Yours is looking pretty good with the lift. When do the 285s go on? :whip2:

Everyone says get the 2.5, but I really have no intentions to add a front bumper or winch, and Andries says the 2.0 kit will handle those if necessary (even if the 2.5 would do it better). I'm making a point to get out with my family as much as possible, but as my daily driver it is always going to be a highway first vehicle. The 2.0 is such a beautiful option for improving on road dynamics and increasing off road abilities.

285s? Maybe this weekend...

Honestly not a clue. The bigger tires throw the speedometer and odometer off and I haven't bothered calculating it manually based on the ~3% difference. Right now the computer says 13.6 L/100km based on about 90% city and the rest highway.

I would have thought your gas mileage would be a lot worse with that huge set of balls you have.

Heh, that gave me a good chuckle. This stuff always looks a lot scarier from outside the vehicle than inside. We always wheel in a group and sometimes I watch the guy ahead of me go through something and think to myself "there's no way I'm doing that" but then it feels like nothing when I drive it. On this one all I was aware of were my spotter's hand signals so I had no idea just how crazy it looked until I saw the pictures.

It's nice to travel with people who know more than you do, and trust them not to wreck you when you have one tire so far off the ground that you feel level. Nice pics!

Yes, this exactly! I had never wheeled (not even as a passenger) before April this year. When I got the truck I joined a group up here called CT4WD (Canada Toyota 4WD Association) and took the courses they offer and went on their official runs (which is what these pictures are from). Nobody from the group ever pressures you to do anything you aren't comfortable with but they do encourage you to push your boundaries - though never beyond your truck's capabilities. If I hadn't had 100% faith in my spotters I never would've done it with a 6 month old truck.

Okay, here is my 2011 Limited after the Readylift SST 3/2 lift was installed along with 18x9 Fuel Boost w/ a -12 offset and 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I had significant rubbing issues upfront even after pushing the splash guards in. I did remove some material to solve that problem.

Just installed the OW 2.5 kit and the LR UCAs on my 2010 TE (w/ KDSS) - still settling in and getting used to it but so far I couldn't be happier.

So far planning on sticking with the stock size Duratracs I have - think it still looks pretty good.

Can't recommend the kit and the service from Andries at OW highly enough and the guys at SLEE Offroad who did the install are awesome.

Yep, I have a Yakima base rack that has been with me through many vehicles - it uses the rail grab (although a much older model) towers that attach to the factory rails. The red trays are Rocky Mounts bike trays. Supporting a local Colorado company but they also make quality stuff that is lighter and lower profile than the Yakima/Thule products. To be frank though I usually end up using my Kuat hitch mount rack and only go up top when I need to transport more than two bikes.

Nice work silvers and Ryan c! I still have stock size too Ryan... great for balance between mileage and off roadability, and I love how our runners look lifted! I do have studded 285s waiting for winter. I really need to polish my rig up and take photos! My wife and i just love the rig 6 months in to owning it.

Here's my 2011 TE with the OME 3" kit and 285/70/17 Duratracs. So far I really like it - it's basically eliminated any nose dive I had during braking and I love the look as much as the handling.

It's a bit of a stiff ride, but having had many 4x4's it's nothing I really notice anymore.

And I love the red! My salsa red Tundra held up really well and didn't show scratches and dings nearly as badly as black or the mag grey did.

Did you also put spidertrax on? I'm really tempted to but haven't been able to decide to yet. I'm still worried about increased wear and tear, even though for the most part a lot of people on here seem to use them without issue.

Anybody that has put spidertrax on decided to take them off because of problems or other disatisfaction?

Fall in Colorado... no finer place in the world. I took my family to the mountains yesterday to see the Aspens turn. Testing out the recently installed OW2.0 and BudBuilt skids was nice too I'll say this, a suspension lifted T4R is a totally different animal :guitar2:

Missed you by a day. I spent Saturday around Aspen enjoying the fall colors along route 82. Saw quite a few 5th gens including a BP LE, Black and Salsa TE's, and Salsa and Mag grey SR5s. The 5th gens provided a lot of color themselves.
