Thanks man, Yeah the Duratracs look great and surprisingly much meaner looking than the BFG ATs yet still just as friendly on the mpgs so far...

Not to sound stupid what does how does tow tuned work? When I lift my rig I want to set it up so the front isn't blinding on coming cars when I tow my boat.

Put some 285/70s on this afternoon. Was going to get Duratracs, but with my driving the Yoko Geolander AT-S were a better option.

Pre and post Bilstein 5100 List @ 2.5 in + rear coils

I know it needs tires, but I thought for the most useful comparison I'd show the before and after with the stock rubber. I did the Bilstein 5100s all around with the Toytec coils in back. The front is at +2.5 inches.

I have to say that the folks at Toytec were VERY helpful pre and post purchase. The were also quite polite to a biologist who was a little short of practical knowledge. Very professional as well.

Now tires: 255/80s or 285/70s? Maybe someone can photoshop some tires for me.

i'm thinking of doing the exact same thing for a lift and leave the stock tire until they wear out (money issues).

The ride is GREATLY improved. It has firmed up, but at the same time, it isn't harsh. The nose diving under braking is gone. I don't think I realized how bouncy the stock suspension was until I did the lift. I was hesitant about doing the 2.5/2.0 front/rear, but am now glad I did.

I hear you on the tires: I'm still struggling on whether or not to wait a bit. I doubt I will wear out stock tires, however.

i have the same lift! big debate on 285 or 275 tires! i wanna run 285/65 18 tires on ultra gaunlets but afraid of clearance problems. anyone know if itll clear?

It will clear as long as you get the right offset and backspace. If your running stock uca,you will get a little rubbing at full lock to the right or left. You would also need to push your front fender inner liner forward to prevent the rubbing. If your running aftermarket uca's, then that will eliminate a lot of the rubbing issues. Might have to still move inner liner forward.
