to you guys who color-matched- how did you strip the fake chrome plating off the grille before painting?

I just sanded the crap out of mine primed and painted it. Did that over a year ago the paint is holding up good

Awesome! Just ordered a 6x48" flat black powdercoated sheet with the small holes (for that OEM look) for $14 in the "scratch and dent" section!!
