I just ordered an ashray kit. Is it easy to "power up" the second outlet? Is the wiring right there?

Yup. The extra wire is taped right to the cable under the ash tray.

Hi Andrew, long time . . . I went to Radio Shack and bought a cheapo "Y" connector. It turns one outlet into two. It also gets the connections out of your way. Just another option. I though removing these was stupid too. I miss the way my 01 was setup.

Hey Mark, how have you been? I see you traded up for a 4th gen. How are things holding up in OKC? I made the move from Dallas to Indiana- love the Midwest weather so much more. I also see you made the move over here from "The Wire." I still use the off-topic forums over there. I've been thinking about a 4th gen, but to be honest the test drive didn't impress me all that much. It lacks the character that my 3rd gen had. It seems more "Toyota" than ever- in many ways a good thing.
