Power steering wheels problem HELP

Hi,

I know that power steering wheels problems need to be check by a professional but I just to know what is wrong with that.

It a 97 3.4 l with 123 000 miles on it.

The steering wheels start to be a little harder than before and since 1 week it's start to have a really small creaking noise in the cabin when I turn. But since this afternoon the steering it's start to stuck for 1 second and after okay on some turn

What's wrong? Rack and pinion?

Low fluid level?

Pump issues. What does the fluid look like? Is it full? What you describe could easily be a low fluid level. If so add some automatic transmission fluid, dextron III. Luck! :banana:

Steering fluid

Steering fluid check but need to be recheck.

I bought this car 4 months ago a 4rummer lover like all of you but the previous owner seems to be a liar and just want get rid of it.

I will flush the fluid and add new fluid and will see. But their any component in the cabin tomb lubricate ?

Where is the Power Steering Wheel belt?

Pretty stupid question but where is the PW Belt? Is it with the Where is the serpentine belt or inside the cover with the Timing belt?

I have a 3.4L V6 engine

its one belt, the serpentine belt, it runs and turns the alternator, power steering and A/C. i doubt the issue is your belt, its your power steering pump. its either low on fluid, the fluid might be really bad, or the pump is gone. Change the power steering fluid, if the problem doesnt go away then you need a new power steering pump
