I think this should fit 3rd gen runner. Currently doing some research. Let me know your findings are.

the 167 series is only like 30 more and that for sure fits 3rd gens

it won't fit because the A-pillar of the VZJ95 prado has less rake than the VZN185 4Runner.

On a lesser scale, the VZJ95 Prado roof is taller than the VZN185L 4Runner.

I'm running a knock off of a safari on my prado and did lots of research and found that a 167 would be a no go for me.. Stands to reason with our positions reversed that would be the same
