I "get" some of you guys not liking Trump. I don't like him either. But please give me a reason, any reason, to vote for someone else? Now, before you do, don't give me a reason to not vote for Trump. I know all those. Give me a reason to vote for Cruz, Sanders, Clinton, etc. The way I see it:
Trump - Loose cannon. As I have said before, he will either be the best president we ever had or be the worst in spectacular fashion. Right now he has a few things going for him: He is beholden to no one or no special interests because of money and 2) He is not a politician and does not think like a politician. He is a businessman plain and simple. The bad thing is we don't really know what he will do. It's my though that all the crap he has been throwing against the metaphorical wall (building a wall, killing Muslims, etc) is nothing but rhetoric to see what sticks and also to fire the opening salvo for future negotiations.
Cruz - Weak. He is ultra conservative and afraid of his own shadow. IMO he would be a lame duck president in his first year and forget wielding any power over congress or anyone else for that matter.
Sanders - oh man. I don't think we have enough people left in the country that have jobs and pay taxes to do what he wants done. In principle he sounds like he wants to help people and I believe him. In reality it'll never work because of the cost. That's why all the college kids are gaga over him and most older people know better.
Clinton - Makes Bush look like a genius. She simply is not very smart and cannot lead. She can't think on her feet and if elected will not be able to be sworn in without an aide beside her telling her exactly what to do. She also brings in her husband Bill. Those two have too much political baggage to be anything but dysfunctional leaders.
So that's my opinion. Notice I didn't call anyone names, I just stated my observations and opinions. Now, every single one of them have done something good but IMO their bad outweighs anything positive they bring to the table. So who? It's easy to talk crap about a candidate but hard to find anything positive about any of our choices this year.
