Honestly that sounds about right

I found a 07 sport with 109k for 16k 100 miles away. I'm taking the afternoon off to go look and possibly buy it, BUT the seller sold it out from under me after made arrangement. Im SO pissed right now.

Once i started research in January i began to fine tune what year , trim and mileage i was looking for so its taken some time to find a good truck.

i don't think thats too bad for California..

Im in florida, I bought a 2007 sport V6 4x4 loaded with 79k miles for 16,000 last month from a private seller..

Now in addition, which I feel gets over looked a lot when people talk about what they paid for the vehicles, is the taxes and maintenance that immediately follows the purchase..

in addition to my 16k cash price..

I paid 1k for tax, tag, registration, and title fees..

and I would say I have spent between 1500-2000 on maintenance and upgrading and thats just the basics for most part.. (transmission flush, differential/ Transfer case flushes, greasing the drivetrain, new synthetic oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, new plugs, tint, spacers, floor mats, cargo mat)

that is not including a few thing that were specifically wrong that you or I in this particular case missed at purchase.. had to replace a fog light, the rear hatch switch, and fan clutch..

so all in I got into a mint condition 4runner with 80k miles for 19k, (still needs a lift, some better tires, brakes down the road, and a touch screen navi.. but I will wait until the time comes...

originally thought they sold it before i could see it

and the mgr mails me last night telling me to call him. So i call him this morning and he tells me the deal fell through and the trucks still available.

It may be priced kind high by a 48 state or so cal vs. nor cal standards but its in great condition and has records so it will hold a lot of its value.

Only you can decide, but IMO price seems fair.

Fair enough for this vehicle which sold last December for around 16,000 dollars, I know because Dolan Toyota in Reno sold it off their lot two weeks after I trade it in towards a 2016 SR5. 58,400 miles and in overall excellent condition so it was worth the price to someone who bought it [see photos]. BUT, it all depends on the condition as you see it, and on your knowledge and willingness to accept how the vehicle is described.

Local demand is a big factor along with local supply otherwise shipping/delivery can be costly also.
