Prices paid on a TE recently?

small update,

I called around and spoke with several other local dealers today just to get an idea if my offer price is fair. Here is what I found - my best offer by just emailing and one call is $33932 for the 2010 Trail ($36500 MSRP). They can add heated seats for $450. So when the GM gets back tomorrow from my normal dealer, I will offer $34300 for everything and hope it flies

Thank you sir! I would seriously be patient and search as many dealers as possible. I think $500 over invoice is fair for both parties. I will let everyone know the verdict tomorrow.

I looked into adding heated seats to my SR5 and my local parts guy told me that it was not possible because the heating elements were built into the seat cover. Quite frankly, I think he is full of it and could not find the right part number, so if you are able to get heated seats could you get the part numbers for me. I believe i just need the heat elements, switches, a relay, and a fuse and I will be in business. Thanks in advance.

Toyota needs to get rid of this Nav requires KDSS and vice versa bullshit. 2 expensive options that you have to order together. I'd want KDSS, but not the factory Nav.

They should have made the Crawl Control an option and the KDSS standard!

You need to move out to Colorado. I saw two more yesterday that had the KDSS and no navigation, one black and one silver. It's an option when pricing in our Zip codes. Mine for example is 80921.

Yes leasing was ridiculous compared to my 2006 lease, nearly double.

I just closed the deal today on the Trail edition without NAV or KDSS. I ended up paying $34900(included heated seats). I had been offered one for just about $34K plus heated seats from another dealer but they did not have one in stock and could not give me a time frame, so I felt a bit nervous about the offer. The heated seats are aftermarket and the switch unfortunately has to go on the side of the seat...I will not see it until Monday

What made the deal sweeter was I was offered $19K for my 2006 SE 4R with 62K. I felt this was very good based on the listings for similar trucks on autotrader in my area(plus saving the taxes).

I almost swapped the stock tires for the Revos but they would only credit me $300 for the stock tires and wanted an additional $400 to upgrade. I guess I am stuck with the Bridgestone duelers, I hope they are better than my last Dunlaps.

Oh, its Black on black.....and I removed my 2006 SE running boards and will try them on the 2010 to see if they work.

Ya we bought it out in the fall and were not sure at the time if I could swing the 2010. I bought it out for like $17800 or so so I come out ahead either way.

That's the best deal I heard of so far on a Trail Ed.
I not sure you could get that good of a deal down here in Texas. They,and 4Runners in general, have been a hit so far. They are selling them as fast as they get them. They just got in a silver TE in at my dealership last Tuesday and had it inside on the floor showing it off . I went back by there Sat. .....Gone!

I was able to extend my 2006 lease for an extra year while I waited for the 2010.

When I mentioned saving taxes, when you trade a vehicle in you do not pay sales tax on it versus selling it to an individual. Instead the value of the vehicle(assuming you owe less than its worth) will go towrds the new one.

Thank you! I feel like it was a good deal also. About $2200 off MSRP before you add in the cost of the heated seats. Just about every dealer that I called said the midwest was never supposed to even receive the Trails and that they will be running out of them soon.....hmmm.

Ya, the 2006 Lease was a steal. I live just outside Milwaukee. If you are looking at a trail, I would shoot for just over $34K and be patient until the dealer really wants a sale.
