My 2014 SR5 makes two interesting noises.
One noise is when you push on the brake pedal. It's a soft sound, somewhere between a whistle, a whoosh, and a scrape. Occurs just when you begin to press the pedal and lasts maybe a second. The brakes are working fine.
The other noise I heard when I pulled up to the fuel pump and opened the gas tank cap. From inside the gas tank there was a continuous and rather loud rumble/rattle (the engine was on at that time). The tank was about a quarter full. I filled it up and the noise was gone when I pulled the nozzle out.
I'll poke around the brake pedal when I get a chance, maybe something is undergreased
and as to the gas tank, I'm not sure -- maybe it's some newfangled emission system working there?
Functionally everything works, no trouble lights, no leaks, no nothing.
