Well they are still unsure. Service writer even said the Toyota engineer that came out was a little skeptical with what exactly was going on. Noticed something the other day when I was in the back with the Toyota tech. The RPM guage does not go down once the vehicle is turned off...it stays at the idle position as if it was still on. Tech seemed pretty confused about this as well haha.
This seems like a possible "lemon" candidate. It really sounds like a one off problem. Not sure I've heard of anything so pervasive, it's certainly not common. This could trigger them being required to just trade you to a new vehicle (Depending on what sort of lemon law Co. has). A new vehicle should not be having this kind of problem at all (and the other 99.9999% don't)
