OK, I checked my axles tonight:

Passenger side has some up/down play pushing with my thumb in the inner CV, not huge amount but definitely loosening up.

Driver side has ALOT more play, again using just my thumb to push up/down on the inner CV. Even the outer CV on this side has a lot more play.

So, I wasn't imagining that the axle shaft of rotating in an oval pattern, way off from running true.

I also checked the drive shafts by hand, rear shaft was solid, the front shaft to the forward diff had play, it was in the Ujoint closest to the center diff end. I don't think this what I am feeling in 2Hi, but must be part of the additional vibration in 4Hi.

So, time to shop for OE remans or see who can source those locally for the job. Not sure I want to tackle this and/or hassle with oil seal issues.

Besides, I'm doing the DS hub/bearing this weekend, its grindy and noisy too.

Will report back after.

When your doing your hub
Make sure you REPLACE THE dirt/dust seal on back of spindle
Or you will be doing your wheel bearing again allot sooner then you want to

Can anyone confirm the CV axle for a 2007 V6 4x4 is 43430-60061?

Is there a separate part # for the Reman version?

fyi: my truck had a driveline slack.when i put it into drive it would sometimes clunk. like there is something loose. now its totally gone.
