Put on my kings!

So I installed my 2.5 kings today. I was going to do it tomorrow but... I didn't. All I can say is holy shit! Holy shit holy shit holy shit! I just ran it up to Taco Bell because I skipped dinner to put them on, and then drove down a trail next to a bayou way to fast. And slow. And everywhere. It is sooooooo freakin smooth! I pulled off the front sway bar at the same time and it's actually flatter with the kings and no sway bar than it was stock going around corners. I need an alignment and I need to either raise the back with new springs or drop the front an inch and a half to get level. I think I might drop the front as all the rear lift springs are stiffer and I'm not going to do bumpers. But hands down the best mod I have ever made to a truck/SUV ever. And I have wasted a lot of money on stuff. Woooooooooooooohooooooooo! It's dark but I'll throw up pictures tomorrow.

Quick complaint list.... I have compression adjusters front and rear. Sure can't get to them on the fronts. Same for the schrader for the nitrogen. Wtf were they thinking on the brackets up front? Also, is there better clearance between say camburg or total chaos UCAs? I'm running stock for now but god are the resi lines close to the UCAs.

Confirmation bias is strong in this one :whip2:

(motorcycle background) Surprised the adjusters are for compression, rebound is usually the adjustable damping method on all but the most insanely expensive shocks.

As far as the schrader's for the nitrogen, you should expect to remove the shocks from the vehicle for any rebuild, anyway.

Confirmation bias... Right. You obviously don't understand how crappy a 5th gen SR5 4runner drives. I literally try and avoid riding in it because it pisses me off so much with the see-saw action during acceleration or braking. My wife actually went for a spin with me as a passenger (she didn't notice the procharger on my cobra when I put it on to give you an idea of how little she pays attention) and before we got done backing out of the driveway said what the heck did you do to my car? It drives completely different... In a good way! I got a high five which is super rare when I "waste money" on our cars.

(Motorcycle and car background). Icon, king, and fox all have compression adjusters as options. Heck my bikes had hi and low speed compression in fact.

You can tune the shock a little by changing nitrogen pressure.... But in this case you have to pull the reservoir loose to do it. Also, overtime your shocks may loose some pressure and need topped off... It happens. And while I doubt I will adjust compression it still makes no sense to hide them. Those things cost good money!

Haha! Like a damn kid at Christmas. I love it! Good work man. I gave the bayous in Katy hell after I got my TE back in 2010.
