PVC tube located near the jack?

I'm curious as to what the clear PVC tube is located behind the jack/tool kit, in the back of my 4th gen (07 sport). If you open the side panel to expose the jack/tools, and take out the tool holder, it's right behind there. It slides right out of the rubber housing it's stuck into and I haven't traced it back to where it's coming from.

Just wondering what it's for if someone knows. Sorry I don't have a picture but at least it's easy enough to see for yourself.

That tube is for your rear windshield washer.

I remember reading at least one thread on this a while ago, and I believe it was determined to be a drain line for the moonroof. If it is the one I think he is talking about, it is a clear PVC line about 3/8 to 1/2" in diameter. The rear washer feed line is much smaller in diameter.

PS: I just checked my parts manual, and the Sunroof parts breakdown lists 4 separate drain hoses for it, two front L/R which appear to go down each A pillar, and two rear L/R with the two rear drain lines going into hose grommets on either side in the rear quarterpanels.

I agree with TechWrench. Moonroof drains (if talking about the larger tubing).
