I bought a roof top tent from 23 Zero and I noticed something strange. There are six holes in the base of the tent to be used for attaching the mounting rails. If I were to align those rails parallel to the tent hinge, the holes in the rails line up with the holes in the tent base. But I want to mount the rails perpendicular to the hinge. The instructions even discuss this option to be used when you want the tent opening on the vehicle side. But the instructions don't explain that the holes in the tent base don't match up to the holes in the rails in this configuration. Am I expected to drill the holes myself and they just didn't explain that part? Or am I missing something?
