Question on Entune Nav - Nighttime Dimming?

My Nav will not Dim or go into nighttime mode automatically. I have to manually adjust it. Anyone else notice this on theirs?

Second nitpick on electric malfeasance that I noticed repeatedly was the electronic dash compass repeatedly showed me going in completely opposite directions that I was actually heading.

Anybody notice these things as well? Think these are warranty issues?

mmmmm.mmmmm.mmmmm......manual, owners one at that. Give it a good read page 450 to 455 it goes into great detail in how to calibrate the compass from setting it accordingly to the earths magnetic field to driving around in circles making your neighbor’s think your crazy! :nerd:

As far as your NAV cant answer as i dont have a entune however with mine it came with a separate booklet called " Navigation System Owners Manual" bet you have got one as well... have a good read of that as I bet you find a solution to your problem within that material.

Mine does it when I turn the headlights on. I think there is a setting called night mode somewhere though.

Is your interior light dimmer turned all the way up? Try turning it down.

^ This here. I picked my truck up a few weeks ago and the nav was blinding me so much at night that I had to turn the display off. One evening I fiddled with the light dimmer and discovered it was on max bright. Once it 'clicked' off of max the nav display went right to night mode.
