question regarding my high beam/low beam

Pardon my insufficient searching skills!! Nothing turns up for me when I search.. hoping to get a answer maybe two.

Ever since i installed HIDs in my 2015 TE 4Runner, when I pull the stalk BOTH highbeams and the lows come on with all lights off. Regardless if vehicle is on or off.


Anyone know why this is? I flash quite a bit lol and don't really want to burn out my HIDs..

Hi pokits,

I just checked the 5'th gen 4Runner Headlight wiring schematic and it clearly shows that whenever the High-beams are triggered 'for any reason' (Flash or On), the low-beams will be initiated as well, so you're in good shape. Rgds!
