QUESTION: To those of you with DUAL / DIGITAL climate controls (ie Limited)

Are your "passenger" side temp+/temp- buttons backlit? I noticed tonight that the pass side of the middle dial is NOT illuminated.

Mine are. You may just have a bulb out bro.

All the climate controls should be backlight. The bulbs are known for burning out so if you replace it that should solve your problem. Here's a thread that shows you how: Center Console Lights Its not exactly the bulb your changing but it gives you an idea on how to get access to the bulb. Your will have more bulbs cuz you have a Limited but still the same concept. Good Luck

HA, I had the exact same bulb die (PASS TEMP) on me last week. Just replaced it yesterday. It shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to do.

Too bad they're bulbs and not individual LED's; I was thinking it would be cool to make the + button RED, and the - button BLUE. But, if it's just 1 bulb that lights the whole side, I probably can't do that ... :shrug:

Mine IS lit, just like all the other guys said their's were. I haven't had to replace mine yet, but when I do, I may do the LED swap to change them out to the cool blue LEDs that some of the other guys have done.

This is a cool idea. Maybe if you put 2 small LEDs, one on top of the other in the same socket...it could work. When I jump on the LED bandwagon, I might look into this.

Probably not a difficult mod to do. You probably don't need 2 LEDs. All you MIGHT need a bright WHITE LED and place transparent red/blue strip of plastic (these things you can find at a hobby or arts & crafts store) inside the button. Hmmm.........................

Maybe I'll take it apart tomorrow and see what the lights look like back there. If each segment has its' own LED, it'll be an easy swap. I like that Paper/Film idea too... that's a thought...

I was just about to post something similar...is anyone's up and down arrows for the back window lit, or just the middle window icon on the button. Also, how about the 'passenger' word on the right side of the outside temp. window, where the passenger seat belt light is. Sorry to highjack your thread!
