Questions about 2012 order & pricing, stripped SR5 4x4

I'm replacing a Grand Cherokee and about to start contacting dealers to order a 2012 SR5 4x4 without any options. From the research I've done the 4Runner looks like the best all around SUV in its class. And hopefully an order now would be here within about 3 months.

Has anyone ordered or seen a stripped down SR5 4x4? The dealers in my area only have heavily optioned trails and limiteds, I'm wondering if there are any low cost options that 4Runner owners would consider essential and recommend.

Also, I haven't been able locate any 4x4 strippers in pictures, is there anything that would look kind of bad on the interior or exterior of a base 4x4?

Any news if price will be the same for 2012? Any possible incentives or rebates on '11s?

i got mine for 30 out the door including a $5000 trade in. you might have luck with dealer trying to get rid of 2011's

I'm trying to do the same thing as well. I want a stripped SR5 and its just about impossible to find one. They wont order it so I'm stuck trying to search for a used one that is not the same price as new.

..... I'm not calling previous post a lie, but I seriously doubt you can get one for 30k out the door with 5K trade-in. That would put the vehicle at 24K and that my friend is impossible for the general public. I'm just saying............

Without knowing WHAT he traded for $5k, I don't see how you feel qualified to comment..... just sayin'.

that is correct. i got the least added on sr5 with 4x4 and the trade in was an '03 4runner with issues

Yes, according to my research, a base model SR5 4X4 is 35K OTD.
Now if I could only find one in silver or Gray.
