Quick - opinions on wheels...

Hey BFAD!! It was great to meet you as well . I was hoping to see the Beast yesterday and still want to see your other rig.

That is a most excellent idea. Those rims are perfect to mount our Spares
on because they will fit over the 231 calipers on the front of our rigs.

Do you want 2 of them for your Runners??? That would leave one for Rip and myself.

I'll just give them to you guys since we always help each other out :thumb3:

Hmmm.. look similar. May be some mods in the works for these...

I've seen these in person, they look great but they aren't functional beadlocks. In my opinion functional is better then looks

Since the color match is so good I'm not going to mod these wheels. The only thing that will change is I'm replacing the chrome lug nuts with black ones. They were ordered but didn't come in with the wheels.

When you first asked if they'd look good, I was like.. No way.

Now that I've seen them on the truck... Beautiful... and +1 for being original.

I'm not a big fan of the gold 4R's but I'd drive yours. :thumb3:

Thanks guys...I was just lucky as heck that the wheels were gold rather than a real bronze color. They tone things down from the typical chrome wheels but still look good.

Hey BigFishAllDay, I went over to Discount Tire today to have the Black Lug nuts put on and also had my spare mounted on one of my old rims.

My 9 year old Duncrap spare wasn't looking too good so for $50 they found a slightly used Michelin Cross Terrain SUV to replace the Dunlap with. The $50 included mounting, balancing and the lifetime warranty. So, now I have a spare that will fit over the 231mm front calipers.

I approve of those wheels. Definitely matches real well with the gold.
