Hey so this might be a dumb question probably is, I just picked up the 70628 and about to do the install this weekend. I've been mulling over the diy to make sure i dont screw anything up.
I've got some quick questions.
First, following, TRD Transmission Cooler - 3rd Gen 4Runner - YotaTech Forums
It says to disconnect the return line, the line that carries the fluid from the radiator back to the transmission, I'm guessing since it passes the radiator this fluid is cooled.
After disconnecting im routing hoses from transmission to the 70628 and then from the 70628 to the radiator. Again this is the return line the one that carries the fluid from the radiator to the tranny.
If that's all right... that doesn't make sense, if the cooler in the radiator already cools the fluid why would i need to send it to the cooler again.... or am I just super confused and not understanding something.
