Me too! haha impatiently waiting over here! Pretty sure I'm going black but I've seen this color work with dark bronze, gunmetal and even blue. I'm not really down with buying wheels like they're concert tickets either (SCS, and maybe others?). Some nice wheels out there but damn, take my money if I offer it to you. Isn't that how it's supposed to work? I give you money, you make me wheels?

I agree but I personally prefer to not have the 'rock ring' if it's not a true bead lock. Come to find out, the regular SIX is only forged and therefore expensive af.

This pisses me off about SCS, they really need to get over that. It's ridiculous. You have a market, people want your wheels, ramp up production and get some stock in place.
I'd love some F5's but geez there's so hard to get a hold of a set.
I have some other wheels I'd like but they're currently not available yet either.
You could go with TRD Pro wheels and they'd look good, but I kinda want a small center with a bigger lip to give the illusion of the wheel being smaller than 17", like the SCS F5 of FN Five.

I don't understand why people think they should be able to receive things immediately. Like they are entitled to it or something. You dont pay for your wheels until he receives them, and they aren't difficult to get a hold of, email and get your name down, simple as that.

No I'm not entitled to it, but if they don't have their wheels in stock and can't keep them in stock because they don't produce enough to supply the demind, well then they're going to lose business as people will move on to those who are in stock. It's simple business.
Don't tell me they aren't difficult to get a hold of, they are typically sold out within minutes of being 'in stock' when they get a new shipment.
They've had a 'New Inventory Subscription Thread' since earlier this year... obviously because people were probably emailing them enough asking about when they'd have stock. You can read about others attempts to get a set of wheels. People are watching these threads and 'go lives' as if it was the stock market. I don't have time for that nonsense.

But you can email at any time and get your name on the list so when Vin receives his shipment he will send you an invoice and ship you your wheels as soon as you pay. You don't have to wait for the leftovers that aren't accounted for in the shipment that get snatched up quick when he receives them. That's how it worked when I bought mine just over a year ago. You just need to email and he will reserve you a set in the next shipment.
EDIT: Maybe things have changed since I bought mine? It's hilarious everyone in that thread trying to snipe eachother when they are in stock. I would try emailing and asking to be put on the list for the next shipment and see if they still do that. If it works don't tell anybody in that thread.

I emailed Vin. His response was " The wheels are sold on a first come first serve basis through our website so there's no preordering." Nice wheels or not, that doesn't work for me..

That's kinda lame then. He must be selling more than he has in the past to go without the preorder routine.
Guess my beat-up SCS wheels are worth more now than when they were brand new.

They're dope it's just a little too on the nose for mine - love quicksand but don't want to be an exact 5th Gen TRD Pro clone
