Racing stripe?

Have any of you guys did anything special to your runner, as far as paint jobs? Have anyone put racing stripes on you Sport SR5 or pinstriping on your Limited? Just wondering, thinking about putting a racing stripe on my Sport SR5 and wanted to see what you guys are doing.

i think it'll look cheesy, like those blue durangos with the white racing stripes like what the vipers have. but that's just my opinion.

personally, why ruin the clean lines of the runner. i use to think having graphics on them looked neat, but over the years i have gotten away from any kind of graphics since they add cost and are a pain to clean when you wax.

I stripped the pin stripes off my truck the day I brough it home......along with that stupid dealership sticker.

dealer stickers, lol. i actually had it written in the deal that NO dealer stickers are to be on the vehicle. they dont pay me to advertise, so why do it for free.

if the vehicle has graphics on it, i have them take them off and also deduct the cost of graphics from the final price (especially if the graphics is done locally), otherwise i wont buy the vehicle. it didnt come from the factory with it, why should i pay for something i didnt ask for.

Around here even the Porsche, Benz, etc. dealers put stickers on the cars they sell. What fools would let them do such a thing to a new $80k+ car is beyond me.

I think you could put stripes on it and make it look pretty good. I think what most people are thinking of are all these stripe packages these "Fast and Furious" kids are doing to their Hondas. I had actually messed around with some graphics packages for a 4Runner, but it was for a project for one of my clients. Since it a project still under progress I can't show you the stuff, but they would be pretty cool. I'd like to see what you are thinking about doing.

I would like to see the work you are doing momo. I saw a Dodge Durango ST with a racing stripe, thought it looked pretty cool. I would love to see something like that, to see if I would like it.

IMHO, the only thing looking good stuck on a rugged truck like our 4R's mud and bugs...
Oh, and when clean, a cute girl laying across the hood is always welcomed, too.
