My 4runner has been my first and only vehicle. Recently I started wanting to learn how to do repairs and modifications. Today I was changing the sparkplugs and noticed 2 connections for what looks to be like hoses and my local mechanic seems to be stumped also. 2 are on top of the engine and then the ends are in the back behind the engine. What I am wondering is if they are urgently important or is there no point in even worrying about them.
Random connection for hose?
