Here are a few recent photos from the In-ko-pah Railroad, my 1/24th scale outdoor layout. Almost everything on it is scratch built:

SOLD MY CADILLAC A COUPLE MONTHS AGO. THIS WAS MY LAST CRUISE WITH HER ON THE WAY TO SELL HER. MAN I MISS HER, HAD SOME DREAMS ABOUT HER SHORTLY AFTER THE SALE.

BEEN SEARCHING FOR MONTHS FOR ANOTHER PROJECT. BEEN ADDICTED TO CHECKING THE INTERNET MANY TIMES A DAY FOR SOMETHING TO JUMP ON. LOOKED AT A COUPLE DOZEN POTENTIAL CARS THAT I THOUGHT WOULD FIT THE CRITERIA, BUT NOTHING EXACTLY FIT. WELL, YESTERDAY I FINALLY FOUND A GOOD CLEAN PROJECT. ONE OWNER, GARAGE KEPT, 57K MILES, ALL SVC RECORDS, EVEN THE ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP STICKER PRICE. ITS IN IMPECCABLE IMMACULATE CONDITION. I KNOW NOT MANY OF YOU(IF ANY) ARE INTO LOWRIDERS, BUT WHEN I GET FINISHED BUILDING THIS BABY, ITS GOING TO BE A CLEAN FAWKING LAC.

p.s. sorry for the caps

Installed 72 spoke cross laced Zenith wire wheels. Had to swap the spindles for caprice ones and do a little grinding on the calipers.

SOME AWESOME PICS FROM THE NEW YEARS EVE CRUISE AND THE NEW YEARS DAY PICNICS

Man bro it's been years since I last sat in/looked at a lowrider. I still love a clean 64 Impala SS in blue with white interior. I'm also partial to '57 Chevy BelAirs when done clean. Keep posting em up bro you'll get only props from me

Me too, I just never stopped. This month at the Arizona Super Show I will finally see a car I used to drool over when I was 15 for the first time in real life, 22years later. I thought I was gonna miss my old caddy, but I'm already in love with my new one. Thanks.

After WWII, my grandfather used to drive his '64 Impala drop top from California out to his property in Kentucky and back all the time as 31 missions in a B-17 over Germany was enough flying for him. He was done....

My folks always wanted me in sunday school on sundays but my Grandpa would roll up in his Impala and take me to the Flea Market to buy hubcaps and stuff.

I have a real soft spot in my heart for that car.

My dad still has it. Unfortunately, it sits outside under a cover and my moms Miata is in the garage...

:moping:

as much as I love Miata's, they are a dime a dozen. A '64 convertible is not
