Once again, I'm looking to this board and the wealth of knowledge here for some answers. Thanks to all that have gotten me this far. It's a bit of a thrill working on this truck at this point in my life. When I was younger and I was forced to work on my daily driver I despised it. There was nowhere except manuals and maybe a mechanic that gave you 5seconds of info and a shine on. Now a couple clicks and there it is the play by play, photo, heavily explained details of the task. Now ball up and do it.
I also have an 03 Tundra. There are some things I wish the 4runner had, like the V8. J/K what about steering wheel controls?
1) Is there a steering wheel swap or could a tundra steering wheel be used? The tundra has stereo controls
2) Can you put auto down/up window switches for the back windows?
3) Is there a better solution to this sh...y ATF dipstick? I've broken 2 off in there. Now I have one that I intentionally broke off just below the hot mark so I didn't have to push it in so deep:wow::wow:
4) Why is the Toytec panhard bar drop bracket about 3/8" wider than my PHB bushing? Think its the source of a clank.
5) Would would cause my Superflex springs to rattle if tapped while under a loaded truck? Then if I jack it up to extend the coils and hit them with a rubber mallet they are quite? Going to post a vid of this. Also source of clank
