Raptor Lights 2020 4Runner

link is above

Those look like the same as from R4T. Not sure...they we’re like double the price when I ordered from them. Would definitely make me think twice about ordering from them again.

Your fuse tap looks the same as mine. I’ll take a pic later and post a pic. The clip by that fuse doesn’t clip; the others do.

Yeah, I installed it into the INJ location and tried to shut it but the corner sits up some. Probably not a big deal but my OCD keeps getting the better of me. Haha.

I ended up plugging it into the headlight location so they come on then. I went with the smoked version so they blend in with the grill.

i’m glad i went with smoke

Would you Mind posting a picture of where you installed the lights on the grille? I just got my 2020 TRD ORP and was curious about the setup location. Thanks

I bought mine from Runninfortacos. Did not install them yet. Waiting on doing my bajadesigns lights the same time. Need to remove front bumper so I will do that first with my off road lights first.

I added a dimmer switch and tapped into the parking light wire.

I ordered a couple of the OG grand general lights. Gonna try and figure a way to get them in the upper grille. If it doesn’t work I’m out $7 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I managed to get the grand general LEDs in the top of the non-pro grill. They fit surprisingly well. The problem I’m running into is I can’t find an open fuse spot that’s not always hot. I tried both under the dash and in the engine bay. There is only 1 open spot under the dash now.

I remember on the ‘18 there were a couple. Everything I plug the add-a-fuse tap into by passes the ignition. Any advice?

I’d like the option of having them activated by turning the parking lights on.

Just not sure how to do that.

I think that requires a simple tap into the parking light wire but not 100% sure. I know the more I go messing with stuff the higher probability I mess up my truck.

Just be careful. I went to Youtube and used some instructions there, one of the videos has been posted can't remember which one. They instructed me to unplug the Drivers side HL fuse and put the raptor lights one in and the old plug tapping into the additional fuse provided (didn't mention adding the old fuse to the additional second new holder, I should have known to do that though). What I didn't remember is I'm running PIAA Headlight bulbs and fogs. Shorted out both drivers side bulbs, Larry at Dirty Parts in LA was very helpful yet still couldn't believe it managed to blow both bulbs.

Of course, they don't sell individual bulbs so it was an $800 mistake (I did upgrade to rigid fogs). Not going to try again.

You would have to use the lower grille. I don't see how they would mount to the upper portion without modifying them some.

I tried to put them in the lower grille but the diamond cutouts are slightly larger than what would be on the upper grille for Pros and pre '20 upper grilles, and the lights will not snap in. You'd have to modify them a bit to get them secured in the lower.

Sorry, I know you have a pro grille but mainly reference for people that don't have one.

Hoping someone with a 2020 who add-a-fuse tapped under the dash can answer this. On mine it seems there is only 1 open spot and it’s an “always on” spot. So I’m going to have to use the add-a-fuse as it’s intended and plug into an existing spot. So my question is I have a 2020 SRP premium. This does not come with KDSS yet there is a 10a fuse in the KDSS spot in the box. Would this be a safe spot to plug the pigtail into?

**update**
bought a voltage tester and checked the KDSS fuse. It’s live despite not having KDSS on my truck so used the add-a-fuse on that one. Lights work with ignition on now. It’s weird the whole fuse panel is full. I wonder if that’s the case with all 2020’s
