I ended up with this same configuration after trying several other spots both internally and in the engine bay fuse box. Honestly, I’m not sure there is an ideal fuse location but they seem to work the best.

Didn’t bother to read the entire thread but be advised while “cool” looking (which is a fair reason to have them) the lights the Raptor sports are required due to the width of the vehicle, the new RAM TRX will also have them. I drive an F250 work truck which isn’t wide enough to require them.
Installed these lights, look great but the add a fuse block height keeps the under hood fuse box from closing completely. This really bothers me, plus I worry about dirt and moister getting in. Thought about taking a heat gun and heating the cover and stretching it to make a "power bulge" to clear the block. I don't think I need more than 1/4". thoughts?
Personally, I would just buy one of the covers being made by folks on this site that allow for the use of the add-a-fuse. I don't know if it is linked in this thread but I am sure you can find it with a search.
Could you link the led you used to fin in the upper grille?
So I managed to get the grand general LEDs in the top of the non-pro grill. They fit surprisingly well. The problem I’m running into is I can’t find an open fuse spot that’s not always hot. I tried both under the dash and in the engine bay. There is only 1 open spot under the dash now.
I remember on the ‘18 there were a couple. Everything I plug the add-a-fuse tap into by passes the ignition. Any advice?

I bought the Taco Vinyl Raptor lights and it appears as though I’m going to need to buy my own 10 amp fuse. Do you all know if I can buy any 10 amp fuse for the add a fuse or is there a specific fuse I need to buy?

Did anyone confirm that putting the add a fuse in the KDSS fuse slot is safe? I have a trd pro so I don’t have kdss and was looking to add it here since my INJ fuse is already being used. Thanks!

Looking forward to replies on this one. Tried to do this install on my truck yesterday and the add-a-fuse simply sticks up too far to allow the cover to close (as others have noted already). This is a total non-starter for me, no way my ocd stands for that. I would really like to have them off unless DRL, parking or headlights are on but that involves digging into wires which makes me very nervous without a wiring diagram.

I ran into this issue as well. They are low profile fuses. I didn't know that so I got Mini fuses.. they do stick up too high.. so I just cut them down.. Still high but works for now..

I wasn't sure if it was safe to use with KDSS.. so I used the Tail one which should be tied to the parking lights.

White mud horn, thanks. I called Toyota today and they had no clue about anything fuse relate....go figure �� Might call some electrical person to figure it out regarding the kdss. I’m going to wire it into the tail fuse until I get an answer. Will post my findings once I get someone who truly knows what that kdss fuse is used for on non-kdss rigs.

I believe I read on here that someone used that KDSS fuse before as well. But if you are using an add a fuse, it wouldn't really matter if you put it on the TAIL one or the KDSS..
These LED lights don't draw much amperage at all, it should not affect stock wiring.
Also the Tail one is tied to parking lights, so only on with Parking, and Low beam on. If you want it on all of the time then KDSS might be the better way to go.
I used the KDSS fuse in my SR5p al be it with an add-a-fuse. I speculate Toyota just started to use the same fuse box for all models in ‘20+. I had an 18 previously, the fuse lay out is slightly different and that one had blank spots. In the 20 there are no blank spots.

Was very simple, just open the loom, remove the insulation from the wires, solder/shrink tube.
INJ and IGN fuse both have problems
I first used the INJ 7.5A under the hood and that lead to three things: 1) the lights would come on and off when the vehicle was shut off. 2) When I went to tow, the tow lights did not work. When I disconnected the lights and replaced the fuse they worked. 3) Then when I started the engine, it went into safe mode and had to remove the battery cable and hit the ignition switch to reset it. Essentially, I could not tow and have raptor lights.
Then I thought well I'll use the IGN in the cabin 10A fuse. Car went into safe mode. Super confused. Wish there were aux fuse circuits for use at owner discretion.
Is there any other fuse slot that does not power on until the vehicle is powered on?

For some reason with the exact settings per your instructions my battery drained. Any ideas?
after jumpstarting the truck I have switched the fuse to IGN fuse locator with the 10 amp fuse (see attached fuse cover) So with this set up the raptor lights are on with auto setting all the time, unless the lights are set to DRL OFF or when car is turned off and key is removed from ignition. Hope I’m doing this right. Alternatively I can swap and I see this in the fuse box under the hood but to which fuse???

I don’t have any idea why you are having this issue. I have not had any issue with battery drain with mine and how I am powering the trigger to the relay thru the tail circuit.
